Is this thing still on?

Hmm wonder if I should start sharing my thoughts with the World again?

Hello brave and shiny new world

Normal service will be resumed shortly.

As soon as I work out what that is.

I am ever so slightly hungover today

For yesterday was [:SITD:] and VNV Nation at The Academy. Which did blow me away and saw me dancing like a loon and grinning all night and has continued today. What a way to lose my bleep gig cherry :)

The atmosphere was fantastic, both bands were amazing and I did shake my glowsticks like a glowy beast.
The afterparty at Slimes was also very enjoyable with much of dancing and watching Shaun of the Dead :D

I've finally discovered where some of the pretty alt boys have been hiding. There was much of shiny and prettyness on display last night :D It did feel strange to go clubbing without corsetry/latex/shiny on

Waves to [livejournal.com profile] w_i_l and [livejournal.com profile] thinlizard - twas cool to meet you guys (and everyone else who's name escapes me currently)

[livejournal.com profile] invadergaz also didn't manage to break any of my glowsticks

Top way to end the weekend.

This is the last call for anyone interested in joining the next order of corsetry. I shall be putting the order in today when I've finally decided which one I want :)

So if you want one then email me (address on user info) or prod me on msn(same address) asap

I thank you

Well that was fun. Shame my head isn't entirely in agreement this morning

Went into Parliament last night to catch up with some mates and to drink the bar dry. Which we had a damn good go at!

As you would expect in such surroundings the conversation was of a high standard and included the proliferance of deaf mute prostitutes in Tallin, one of our MP's being interviewed by Chris Moyles about man boobs, memories of Glasto (apparently it wasn't the same without me this year :) and much much much music. Tickets for Sunday's gig have duly been distributed and Steve has been instructed to find a suitable pub for pre gig goodness

I also managed in my somewhat inebriated state last night to reprogramme every channel on my tv while attempting to set the alarm on my phone. I was quite impressed with this as I have absolutely no idea how I did it. Oh the wonders of House of Commons Vodka!

Genius

We lost our black labrador Katie this morning.

Pinkshifter is sad and tired and hungover.

Oh I lie like a cheap whore.

I have drunk much booze, we have been to many pubs. We failed on the post 11pm porn challenge. I still have smarties left though. I have almost run out of filth as there was so much discussed this evening. We watched Jesus play pool in the Intrepid Fox. We looked at all the oddness in Bizarre in the late night newsies. I am not going to bed tonight as I am talking much of shite to [livejournal.com profile] ravensloft as he flies off to the States at some ludicrous hour tomorrow morning. Is there such a thing as Saturday AM? If so I've not experienced it in some time. I will investigate and see what it's like.

So if anyone happens to be on msn at stupid o'clock tonight then come prod me and I'll talk about stuff and things - the address is on my userinfo

mmmmmmm stuff

My Kendal mint cake has now made it up many mountains and down ludicrous crevasses only to be brutally dismembered and devoured in a storm in Pisac involving wild dogs, falling roof tiles and Tishy in his pants and boots.

I give good presents :D

It kept me amused for ages :)

Mine will be forthcoming when I can remember where the fuck I saved it.

Division no 84

Have checked Hansard. All of ours are there (yes I did count :)

Another one of those days where I'm proud of what I do for a living. Now if we could somehow persuade the myriad assortment of camera crews/American tourists to sod off of College Green all would be well.

Am very excited for tonight I should hopefully be reunited with my beloved again. Yep with a bit of luck I should be able to take my hard drive home today. Which PC I then put it into is another matter but I'll be backing up the important stuff tonight just in case. The only things I was upset about potentially losing were the photos I had taken of friends and gigs and random odd things and most importantly Glastonbury 04. So I'll keep my fingers crossed Mark hasn't spilt tea over it or managed to set it alight by the time I get there.

In other exciting pc news I persuaded my mp3 player to talk to my new pc last night - will take a while to transfer 20gb of music files though. But I can finally put more cd's onto my MP3 player for the first time in 3 months which means that I'll be on the hunt for even more metally goodness soon

My mate Chris has just popped in to see us from Milton Keynes where he is now exiled. Apparently it is very boring there, as is working for a chemical engineering company. I must go visit :)

Anyone want a smartie?

Saturday I did mainly mong, check up on the casualties from the night before and prepare for the evenings excursion to the Pit in Richmond. Upon arriving I ran straight into [livejournal.com profile] ravensloft who was dressed as a rather splendid viking with shield, shiny helmet, big sword and chainmail suit. The best thing about the outfit though had to be the white furry boots which glowed like a bastard under the uv light. Kind of a cross between Asterix and Barbie really. Danced a fair bit, drink an even fairer bit and admired the fantastic outfits. The guy who came as Willy Wonka was particularly impressive although we came to the conclusion that he probably didn't look as spookily like Johnny Depp without the hat and wig. The Pit cherry has now been well and truly lost. Thanks hugely to the lovely [profile] boocreep for taking me.

Sunday saw the hunt for even more music to add to the collection of doom which was successful although I have yet to find a shop with the HHGTTG soundtrack in. Shall admit defeat and order it online methinks

Last night saw myself and the lovely [livejournal.com profile] darkestinsanity and [livejournal.com profile] uvpaladin at Inferno at the Ballroom. Again much of drinking and dancing was done. Bumped into [livejournal.com profile] drippingfist who was looking rather smart as usual. Gumby would have been proud of me as I spent an inordinate amount of time in the room of much hair and much much cheap metal. Unfortunately I now have Youth Gone Wild by Skid Row stuck firmly in my brain.

Home at around 5 and off to work at 8. Sorted!

I am somewhat tired today. This is possibly due to the fact that I've only seen my bed for about 7 hours since Thursday. I have now done the treble clubbing wise and I'm still fairly compos mentis - Although staying awake might be tricky this afternoon so if anyone sees me around online please poke me with sticks or show me the wonders of the internet

Shall update on the losing of the Pit cherry and last nights flaming goodness when i've woken up

I have finally chased the hangover away with a pointy stick which appears to have worked :)

Last night was one of the best nights I'd had out in a long time. Gumby met me from work and we went in search of pie (which obviously turned out to be an excuse for him to purchase copious quantities of lard) Started on the drinking about 6pm and we were shortly joined by lovely peoples on the duest for drunkenness. As usual the conversation was of a high intellectual standard. Topics up for discussion included the problem of getting an erection on a bus (for which there are apparently many solutions), that Siv allegedly has a tongue like Gene Simmonds and the joys of bitch tits (which Siv also has)

Due to much vodka and the obligatory shots of sambuca I was somewhat hammered by the time we made it to the Ballroom. It looked really fantastic decked out with all the Halloween skulls and pumpkins and lights etc. T'was rammed in there and many people were wearing fantastic costumes. I also found several lovely pirates :)

Various peoples got up to the naughties. Not saying who though :) If you weren't there then you'll just have to find out later. You may well be surprised though.

Was kept entertained by Andrew and Dan and subsequently Private Eye on the way home which meant I didn't wake up en route to the bus depot as in last week. Bonus

A truly fantastic night

Incidentally I appear to have come home with a cardboard skeleton arm

Wednesday saw the lovely [livejournal.com profile] muntafara and myself meeting in the pub for pie and beer. London was very wet that day which provided many comedy moments - like matching wet boobies :) We had a great time chatting and certainly put the world to rights. Tis funny how hot chocolate fudge cake can do that :)

Friday saw me pick up my shiny new pc from [livejournal.com profile] andybsc at the Egg before heading over to Euston for Niva's birthday celebrations. Triple sambucas are definitely the way forward. Having made it as far as Camden I did then - talk to a very pretty priest, fend off a man of ming, dance like a muppet and talk much bollocks. I did end up lying on the floor at Waterloo admiring the ceiling but that's another story.

Sunday saw the lovely Mark come round to help set up shiny new pc goodness (and to check out my cd collection) After much of poking at my old pc of deadness we established that neither of us had a clue why it was fecked up the arse with barbed wire. He's been sent away with my 60gb hard drive with instructions not to look at too much pr0n

On to the new and very shiny (and blue pc) Which is fantastic and works etc. However it doesnt like my mp3 player or bluetooth chip much at the moment so some fiddling (fnarr) is required. Am trying to avoid having to install 20gb of music again :)

Have managed to start transferring images from my overfull memory on my phone - am quite pleased how some of the ones of NiN at Brixton came out in particular

Am now planning fancy dress goodness for the weekend - any suggestions? otherwise the wench will be out to play again :)

Tune!

I have just seen a film which had one of the most surreal moments ever!

William Shatner rapping lines from Julius Caesar while wearing some serious chainage (not gold chainage mind!)

Film in question was called Free Enterprise and was actually quite enjoyable though it really wanted to be a Kevin Smith film

If you like geeks, star trek or just sci fi tv through the years then I would recommend checking this out. Shatner rapping is too good to keep to myself :)
